Plinko Calculator

Estimate Plinko odds, payout ranges, multiplier probability and RTP by rows, risk level and bet size. The figures come from binomial math, so the tool describes how a drop is likely to behave — it never tells you the next result.

Payout includes the returned stake. RTP contributions are percentage points (pp); their unrounded sum equals the table RTP.

How the Plinko calculator works

This Plinko calculator takes four inputs — bet amount, rows, risk level and model RTP — and returns the complete outcome table for that setup: the probability of every final slot, the multiplier attached to it, the payout on your stake and how much of the total return each slot contributes. Landing probabilities use a binomial model with independent 50/50 left/right steps. They apply to games using those assumptions; they are not a universal claim about every operator or physical board. The multipliers come from a synthetic table scaled to the chosen RTP, so treat the payout side as an educational estimate until you compare it with a verified operator paytable.

Reading the results

The six cards summarise what the Plinko calculator returns so you do not have to read the whole table. The figures below describe the default view: 16 rows, high risk, 99% model, $10 bet.

Highest multiplier

The largest value in the table, with the combined chance of landing on either slot that pays it. On the default board that is 169× at 1 in 32,768 across both edges.

Most likely zone

The most probable slot or pair of slots. With 16 rows, center slot 8 has a 19.64% chance. Odd row counts have two equally likely center slots; the card shows the chance of each and the combined chance.

Lowest multiplier

The smallest multiplier in the table. At the default setting, 0.09× returns $0.90 from a $10 bet, a net loss of $9.10. House edge is calculated from all outcomes together, not from the center alone.

Max payout

Bet × highest multiplier: the largest total return from one drop in this model. At the default setting, $1,690 includes the $10 stake, so net profit would be $1,680. The chance is shown on the highest-multiplier card.

Estimated RTP

The probability-weighted sum of all multipliers after they are rounded to what the table displays. That rounding is why a 99% model shows 98.84% on the default board rather than exactly 99%.

House edge

100% minus the estimated RTP: expected loss as a share of total stakes. At the default setting, the expected loss is about $0.12 per $10 drop, averaged over many drops; it is not a predicted loss on the next drop.

What each setting changes

Bet amount

Bet size scales the money returned by each slot. It does not change landing probabilities, multipliers or RTP. Amounts are shown in dollars; the same multiplication works in any currency. Enter a number from 0 to 1,000,000,000.

Rows

A board with n rows has n + 1 slots. More rows make the far edges rarer: either edge has a combined chance of 1 in 128 at 8 rows and 1 in 32,768 at 16 rows. Central slots remain the most likely individually, but one center slot has a 27.34% chance at 8 rows and a 19.64% chance at 16 rows. This calculator supports 8 to 16 rows. Path counts and plain "1 in X" chances for every slot on every board size are broken down on the slot-by-slot probability page.

Risk level

Risk does not move the ball. It swaps the multiplier table. At the 99% target RTP across 8–16 rows, low risk pays 0.62×–0.80× at the center and up to 5.05× at the edges. High risk pays 0.09×–0.33× at the center, with edge multipliers from 10× to 169×; medium sits between the two. Choosing a lower target RTP reduces those multipliers. The binomial probabilities stay identical whichever button is pressed. How the three tables differ in variance and session behaviour is covered in the risk level comparison.

Model RTP

The 99%, 97% and 95% options scale the whole multiplier table so that its expected return lands on that figure before rounding. They are illustrative return targets, not verified RTP options for a specific game. What the percentage means for a bankroll over a long session is explained in the house edge explainer.

The Plinko odds formula

For independent left/right steps with equal probabilities, slot k (counted from 0 on the left) has probability:

P(k) = C(n, k) / 2n

Here n is the number of rows and C(n, k) counts the paths reaching slot k. At 16 rows, a single edge is 1 in 65,536; both edges together are 1 in 32,768. This is the p = 0.5 case of the binomial distribution described by NIST.

How payouts and RTP are calculated

Each slot returns bet × multiplier, including any returned stake. Net profit is bet × (multiplier − 1). A result below 1× is a net loss; 1× breaks even. The return of the whole table is the probability-weighted sum of those multipliers:

Expected return = Σ P(slot) × multiplier(slot)
RTP = expected return × 100%

Because the displayed multipliers are rounded, the Plinko calculator reports the RTP the rounded table actually produces, not the target it was built from. Payout amounts across a range of stakes are tabulated on the payout chart, and the multiplier tables themselves, by rows and risk, on the multiplier chart.

Operator-specific Plinko calculators

The Plinko calculator above intentionally uses a synthetic generic paytable. For operator-specific information, use the dedicated pages below. Each one separates public or live-checked data from values that cannot currently be verified instead of treating the generic model as an official casino paytable.

Questions people ask

Can this tool predict my next Plinko drop?
No. This calculator computes probabilities from the selected settings. It does not access a game’s hidden server seed or determine the next outcome. In the independent-drop model, previous results do not change the next drop’s probabilities. See why Plinko predictors fail.
Why is the estimated RTP not exactly 99%?
The model is scaled to the selected target before rounding. Unrounded multipliers below 10× are rounded to two decimals, those from 10× to below 100× to one decimal, and those at or above 100× to whole numbers. The RTP card uses the rounded table. Across all 81 supported row, risk and RTP combinations, the difference from the target is less than 0.4 percentage points.
Does changing rows or risk improve my odds overall?
No setting removes the house edge. Rows and risk change the payout spread and volatility, while rows also change the slot probability distribution. In this generic model, changing risk alone changes the multiplier table rather than the underlying landing probabilities. For a practical way to choose between these settings, see the strategy guide.
Are these the same multipliers as Stake, Duel or BC.Game?
No. The default table is a synthetic generic model normalised to the selected RTP. The dedicated operator pages distinguish public or live-checked information from modelled values and from paytable details that cannot currently be verified.
What does a 99% model RTP mean?
It means the table returns about 99 cents per dollar staked on average across a very large number of drops. Any single session can land well above or below that.
